There's a range of ways to pay for your yoga, from one-off passes, to regular memberships - here's your guide to what costs what (and why)
Class Fees & Yoga Industry
Yoga is a wonderful, self care focused movement practice - but it's not always as wonderful for yoga teachers. Teachers are frequently paid below minimum wage, operate with no job security, dealing with abuse and unsavoury conditions daily.
My fees are set inline with the market rate for yoga in Aberdeen for my level of experience, specialism and training. If you'd like to learn more, please get in touch.
Your Class & Membership Fees Cover:
Running costs: Hall & venue hire, website fees, payment processing, software costs, equipment, insurance, music licence, first aid training.
Labour to create the classes you attend: Planning, admin, marketing, client enquiries, cleaning and more!
My Salary: Teaching yoga is my job - so your fees cover the things your salary covers for you.
Holiday, sick pay, pension & Tax & NI: If I don't work, I don't get paid. My fees allow me to set aside money so I can still pay the bills if I'm away, sick and save for when I retire.
Investment in the business: Reinvestments to make your classes better, required CPD and further training, more classes and workshops for you to come to!
