Introduction
Take a little time for yourself and ease into your Sunday with this gentle, grounding session designed to help you slow down, soften, and reset.
This class blends the supportive strength of Yogalates with the deep, restful qualities of Yin yoga, creating a calm and nourishing experience for both body and mind. It’s the perfect space to unwind, reconnect, and move in a way that feels good — without any pressure or expectation.
Whether you’re completely new to Yogalates or simply in need of a slower, more restorative practice, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
Details
We’ll begin with a soft and steady Yogalates flow, focusing on gentle core activation, posture, and mindful movement using simple props. This is all about building awareness and support in the body, rather than intensity.
From there, we’ll move into a slower Yin practice, with longer-held stretches to release tension, improve flexibility, and give your nervous system a chance to fully settle. There may also be the option to incorporate myofascial release (using spikey balls) for those who enjoy a deeper release.
We’ll finish with a guided relaxation to leave you feeling calm, restored, and ready for the week ahead.
After the session, you’re welcome to stay for a cup of tea and a chat — a lovely chance to connect and soak up the cosy studio atmosphere.

Hi, I'm Ali!
Hi, I’m Ali — the face behind Wise Little Yogi and your teacher for this Sunday Reset session.
I’ve been teaching yoga since 2017, creating calm, welcoming spaces where people can move, breathe, and feel more at ease in their bodies. My classes are designed to be accessible, down-to-earth, and supportive — especially if you’ve ever felt unsure about where you “fit” in the yoga world.
Recently, I’ve been training in Yogalates, a blend of yoga and Pilates that focuses on building strength (especially through the core), improving posture, and supporting the body in a really balanced, functional way. I love how it complements the slower, more restorative styles I already teach — helping you feel both supported and relaxed.
This session is a gentle introduction to that blend. There’s no pressure to get anything “right” — just an invitation to move in a way that feels good, take a breath, and give yourself a bit of time out.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the space.
